Jim and Michelle Telman and their family have returned to Uganda and are actively reengaged in ministry in Mbira. Michelle has resumed teaching Bible in the nursery school, restarted the Sunday School program, and is leading devotions in the girls’ dorms while training others to assist in teaching and ministry. Jim has also stepped back into his roles as pastor and school director, and they are thankful to see the ministry continuing strong after furlough.
They are encouraged by God’s provision in both ministry and personal life. From the beauty of daily life in Uganda to unexpected blessings—such as needed dental care provided for their son—they see God’s hand at work. At the same time, they are navigating challenges, including new government requirements for renewing their NGO status and work permits, which require both time and financial resources.
Looking ahead, they are trusting God to provide for these needs while continuing to serve faithfully in the ministries He has given them.
Pray for continued strength and effectiveness as they resume full ministry responsibilities.
Pray for the Sunday School, school ministry, and dorm devotions, that they will bear fruit.
Pray for wisdom and provision in completing NGO renewal and legal requirements.
Pray for God’s provision of a vehicle for the ministry.
Pray for continued health and strength for the family, especially for ongoing needs.
Pray for God’s continued blessing and growth in the church and school ministries.
