Jim and Michelle Telman are thankful for the Lord’s provision as they continue serving in Uganda. Two important needs for their school have recently been met. They were able to purchase a family vehicle for $5,000, allowing their dependable HiAce van to become the much-needed school shuttle. Supporters also helped provide 10 new laptop computers for the high school computer lab. With the second school term now complete, students and staff are enjoying a well-earned holiday. 

The Telmans are also praising the Lord for fruit from their street preaching ministry, with three people trusting Christ during the past two weeks. Jim recently conducted the funeral service for Kakeeto, a member of Mbira Baptist Church since 2014. Though it was a time of loss, the service provided an opportunity to minister to his family and clearly preach the Gospel. Kakeeto’s grandmother later visited the church to express her gratitude for the love the church had shown him through the years.

On the family side, Jim is thankful to have Michelle and the boys back in Uganda. Michelle recently completed both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from Maranatha Baptist University, a wonderful accomplishment for their family. They are taking a few days during the school holiday to rest in Kampala while also working on the renewal of their NGO. Through all these blessings and opportunities, the Telmans remain grateful for the prayers and support that allow them to continue serving the Lord in Uganda.
