February marks a significant milestone for the Telman family. Sixteen years ago, in February 2010, they took their first mission trip to Uganda—a trip that God used to change the direction of their lives and set them on a path of lifelong service. Reflecting on that “landmark,” they praise the Lord for His faithfulness and for the partners who have stood with them through the years.
One current ministry need involves their school shuttle. In 2023, the Lord provided a vehicle to transport students to school. After repairs in 2024, the shuttle is now serving 94 students daily but requires an upgrade. They are praying for $15,000 toward the purchase of a new van, which would allow their current diesel vehicle (in good condition) to serve as the dedicated school shuttle. A brand-new van would cost approximately $25,000, but this plan would significantly reduce expenses and improve safety for the children.
The Telmans are also nearing the completion of their support raising. After traveling in several churches in February and March, they are currently at 93% of their needed support. They are praying to reach full support before flying back to Uganda on March 24 to begin their 15th year of ministry there.
They remain deeply grateful for the prayers and partnership of supporting churches and are thankful for God’s continued provision and guidance.
Pray for God to provide $15,000 for a new van to safely transport 94 students to school each day.
Pray for the final 7% of needed support to come in before their March 24 departure.
Pray for safe travels as they return to Uganda.
Pray for continued fruitfulness as they begin their 15th year of ministry in Uganda.
Praise the Lord for 16 years of His faithfulness and for faithful ministry partners.
