Shane and Emily Tasker, serving in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), are in a season of waiting and trusting the Lord as He opens new doors for ministry. After years of closed opportunities, they are now seeing progress, especially in securing visas—five out of the six needed have been approved, with one still pending. 

They are exploring a new pathway to establish a legal missionary presence in the DRC, which would not only allow them to serve more effectively but also open the door for future missionaries. In the meantime, they are based just across the border in Zambia, making regular trips into the DRC to continue ministry, build relationships, and learn the language and culture. 

The Lord has also provided thousands of Scriptures through partnering ministries, which are being shipped for distribution. In addition, Emily’s health has improved after receiving treatment, which has been a great encouragement. Through every step, the Taskers are seeing God faithfully guide and provide.

• Pray for the shipment of Scriptures, that it will arrive safely and be used to reach many.
