The ministry at Cornerstone Baptist Church continues to provide opportunities for training, fellowship, and outreach. Several people from the church recently attended an event hosted by Bay Baptist Bible College, where more than 90 people received practical instruction on teaching children’s church and Sunday school and on leading children to Christ. The group from Cornerstone included their daughter Mallorie, and they were thankful to see members of their church taking advantage of opportunities to grow and prepare for ministry. 

Cornerstone also recently hosted a “5th Sunday Rally” for like-minded Independent Baptist churches in the Port Elizabeth area. Nearly 150 people attended for a time of fellowship and encouragement, and the missionary had the opportunity to preach. The church is continuing its regular Bible studies and is praying specifically for the Lord to save someone through the ministry at Cornerstone. They are also preparing to begin a college night as another opportunity to reach and minister to young adults.

On the family side, they are thankful to have begun the process of adopting their little girl, Indi. They recently met with a lawyer to begin the necessary steps and are praying that God will continue opening doors so the adoption can be completed in a timely manner. Along with this important family need, they remain focused on seeing Cornerstone Baptist Church grow and reach more people with the Gospel.

• Pray for the new college night ministry and for opportunities to reach young adults.

• Pray for those from Cornerstone who attended the children’s ministry training, that they will use what they learned effectively.

• Pray for continued growth and spiritual strength at Cornerstone Baptist Church.

• Pray for the adoption of Indi, that the process will move forward smoothly and in a timely manner.

• Pray for God to continue opening the necessary doors throughout the adoption process.
