Latest Update

Ben and Becca Sinclair have had a very busy season of traveling, preaching, and encouraging missionaries and churches through Baptist World Mission. In July, their family visited missionaries in New York City, Quebec, and Nova Scotia, while also meeting with BWM Canada leaders and staff. These visits reinforced the tremendous need for more missionaries to serve in Canada.

Their travels have continued throughout the United States, with nearly 40,000 miles driven this year. One especially encouraging moment came in Wisconsin when a young lady told Ben that she had trusted Christ during a chapel service where he preached two years earlier. She has since been baptized and is continuing to grow in Christ.

In August, Baptist World Mission held its first annual Furlough Camp, hosting 76 missionaries and family members from around the world. The camp was designed to give missionaries a time to rest, receive spiritual encouragement, and prepare to return to their fields. Plans are already underway for next year’s camp.

The Sinclairs are especially thankful that God is answering prayer for more missionary laborers. In recent weeks, a young nurse in South Carolina, four teenagers in Indiana, and two men in Wisconsin publicly expressed that God was leading them toward missionary service. Ben and Becca are thankful to see God working in hearts and calling people to take the Gospel around the world.
