Nathan and his family are nearing the end of their furlough and preparing to return to Chile. During the past year, they visited more than 80 churches, saw a slight increase in their support, spent valuable time with extended family, and enjoyed more time together as a family. They are now eager to return home and continue the ministry God has given them in Chile. 

While the Saints have been away, Pastor Juan Carlos has been developing new opportunities in the community. A container of Bibles and another of Christian literature arrived in August and are being distributed to pastors and others. He has also received permission to distribute Bibles weekly at a local health clinic and has been invited to lead a weekly prayer time for the doctors and medical staff. 

The ministry in Cañete is also moving forward. A small house is nearly finished that will allow the Saint family to spend several nights each week in the area. Ignacio and Coni, two people originally reached through the church in San Pedro, now live near Cañete and have committed to helping with the work there.

Construction is also beginning on their first camp building. Approximately $30,000 of the estimated $75,000 neededhas already been given. Their first family camp is planned for February 17–20. The Saints are also preparing for their return trip and hope to sell their van and camper, with the proceeds helping provide the remaining funds needed for the camp building.
