Robbie and Lauren Prater are excited to announce that they have arrived in Paraguay and are beginning their ministry there. After several years of preparation, they are thankful to finally be in the country where they believe God has called them to serve. They recognize that adjusting to a new country, culture, and way of life will bring challenges, but they are looking forward to many years of sharing the Gospel and serving the people of Paraguay. 

The next several weeks and months will be focused on establishing their new life in Paraguay. They need to find a house to rent and purchase furniture, appliances, vehicles, and other necessities for long-term living. They are praying for the Lord to give them wisdom and help these arrangements come together smoothly so they can become settled and begin focusing more fully on ministry.

Their arrival also marks the end of a meaningful furlough in the United States. During that time, Robbie and Lauren were able to reconnect with family and friends, visit supporting and new churches, and welcome their first child, Shepherd, into their family. They are grateful for the memories and encouragement of furlough and are now excited to begin this new chapter of their family and ministry in Paraguay.
