Lynette Osborn, serving in South Africa, has experienced both personal trial and ministry blessing over the past couple of months. Following the sudden passing of her mother, she was able to return to the United States, where God used the funeral service as a testimony—resulting in a family member trusting Christ as Savior. Lynette is thankful for God’s grace and for the opportunity to share the Gospel even in the midst of loss. 

After returning to South Africa, she quickly resumed ministry. At Bay Baptist Academy, she continues investing in students through teaching, including her choir class, where she has seen growth and development in her students. She also participated in hosting a young adult retreat, where around 60 attendees were encouraged through teaching and fellowship. 

At Camp Rhino, Lynette continues to minister to young people in the youth home, watching them grow and thrive in a Christ-centered environment. Additionally, Lighthouse Baptist Church is growing, and plans are underway for a building expansion to support the increasing ministry opportunities.
