Zambia
The Norris family, serving in Zambia, are currently in the midst of furlough and are thankful for God’s protection as they travel extensively across the United States. Over the past few months, they have covered more than 18,000 miles, visiting supporting churches, presenting their ministry, and reconnecting with family they had not seen in years. This time has been both refreshing and productive as they share what God is doing in Zambia.
While traveling, they have also been encouraged by how their ministry continues back in Zambia. Their national partners, Ed and Glad, have been faithfully leading Sunrise Baptist Church in their absence. Though there have been some challenges—such as individuals stepping away while the missionaries are on furlough—they are thankful for the leadership and commitment shown by their coworkers and trust the Lord to sustain the work.
On a personal level, the family has enjoyed meaningful time together, especially as their children experience places and memories from the U.S. that they had not seen since moving to Zambia. Even in the midst of travel, they are seeking to be a testimony for Christ wherever they go, trusting God to use this season for His glory.
Pray for safety and health during their travels on furlough.
Pray that they will be a blessing and faithful witness in every church they visit.
Pray for their national partners, for strength, health, and encouragement.
Pray for Sunrise Baptist Church, for stability and continued growth.
Pray for the people of Zambia, that their hearts will be prepared for the Gospel.
Pray for God’s provision, including specific needs during furlough.
Pray for their spiritual strength and closeness to the Lord.
