Tayler and Tiffany Norris and their family are nearly halfway through their furlough from their ministry in Zambia. Since beginning furlough, they have traveled approximately 29,000 miles and are thankful for the Lord’s protection and provision along the way. During July and August, they visited 19 churches, including presenting their ministry at 10 new churches and updating nine supporting churches. They are especially thankful that one new church immediately took them on for support and that several others are considering doing the same. 

While the Norris family travels in the United States, they remain encouraged by the ministry in Zambia. Their national partners, Ed and Glad, continue serving at Sunrise Baptist Church, which averaged 146 people in attendance each week during July and August. One current need is finding a trustworthy family to care for the house where Sunrise Baptist meets during the week. Their ministry vehicle is also in the repair shop because it is not holding coolant.

As the Norris family continues traveling throughout the United States, their desire is to encourage supporting churches, raise additional support, and remain faithful witnesses wherever they go. They are thankful for God’s continued provision, including a new set of tires after problems developed during their travels. They are praying for continued safety, good health, spiritual strength, and provision for all their needs as they complete the remainder of furlough and prepare to return to Zambia.
