Tim and Kim Melton, serving in Nagoya, Japan, are thankful for several recent blessings in their ministry. One highlight has been the availability of a new theological resource in Japanese—something that is very rare. Tim has been helping distribute these materials to pastors and church members, and the response has been overwhelmingly positive as believers are encouraged to have sound biblical teaching in their own language. 

The Lord has also provided additional help in the ministry. Faithful individuals and families have stepped in to serve, allowing Tim to focus on preparing for upcoming ministry opportunities and continuing an important book translation project. At the same time, the church is seeing encouraging growth, including increased attendance in the ladies’ Bible study, new members joining the church, and most importantly, a young lady recently trusting Christ as her Savior.

Looking ahead, the Meltons are seeking God’s guidance in a major need for a new building. Their current facility is no longer sufficient, and they are beginning the process of finding a new location in a challenging real estate market. They are trusting the Lord to provide as the church continues to grow and reach people in their community.
