The Marquez family began 2026 with prayer and fasting alongside their church, asking the Lord for spiritual growth, wisdom for leaders, and advancement of the Gospel. A special highlight was their annual Teen Sunday, where the youth led the entire service—playing instruments, reading Scripture, giving announcements, and even preaching. It was a powerful opportunity for young people to grow in leadership and ministry experience.

The church continues to strengthen through its Men’s, Ladies’, and Couples’ ministries. The ladies are working through Bible reading plans and devotionals, the men are being challenged to lead spiritually, and couples are encouraged to reflect Christ in their marriages. The Marquezes believe strong families build strong churches and are grateful to see these ministries deepen accountability and fellowship.

The Lord has also brought new families into the church, and several souls have trusted Christ in recent months. These new believers are now in discipleship and eager to grow in their faith. An upcoming outreach event will include distributing food outside hospitals while sharing the Gospel, with prayer that many will come to Christ.

They also thank the Lord that their family’s health remains stable and rejoice in how God continues to provide, even amid economic challenges.
