Esteban and Alejandra Marquez are thankful for the Lord’s continued blessing on their ministry in Mexico. Their recent Vacation Bible School brought 43 children, with four children and one parent trusting Christ as Savior. During July and August, a total of 13 people were saved, first-time visitors continued attending, and new members were added to the church. They are encouraged to see the church experiencing both spiritual and numerical growth.
That growth has created a need for additional space. Their current 150-square-meter meeting place is no longer large enough for the church’s average attendance of 65–75 people. The Lord has opened the door for them to rent a larger 220-square-meter space nearby while the church works toward eventually purchasing its own property. They are seeking to raise $8,000 to help with moving and construction costs, along with 50 additional chairs and six tables. The Marquez family has been especially encouraged to see church members faithfully giving and sacrificing toward the project.
The Marquez family is also thankful that sufficient funds were provided to repair their vehicle and that their health is currently stable. As the church prepares for the move, they are praying that families will remain faithful and that attendance will continue to grow. They are also preparing for an upcoming teen camp and are asking God to work in the hearts of the young people while keeping everyone safe. Through these opportunities, their desire remains to reach more people with the Gospel, disciple believers, and build a strong local church in Mexico.
Pray that more people will come to know Christ as Savior.
Pray for the new believers to grow spiritually and remain faithful.
Pray for God to provide the $8,000 needed for the church relocation.
Pray for a smooth transition into the larger meeting place without losing any church families.
Pray for continued growth in church attendance and membership.
Pray for the upcoming teen camp, that God will work in hearts and provide safety.
Pray for the Marquez family’s spiritual growth, physical strength, and continued good health.
Praise the Lord for providing the funds needed to repair their vehicle.
