Mark and Emily Mariner share several encouraging updates from their church-planting ministry in Suriname, along with important family news. Emily is expecting baby #4 in April 2026, and after much prayer and medical counsel, the family plans to return to the United States for the first half of 2026 to welcome the baby. They hope to return to Suriname as soon as possible afterward, pending visa approval. On the ministry side, the church recently completed a major renovation project, improving the meeting space to better serve the congregation. Mark also had the privilege of teaching a one-week Bible institute module on evangelism, which included outreach in the community and resulted in two individuals trusting Christ. In addition, their weekly Kids’ Bible Club continues to grow, with many new children attending and hearing the gospel for the first time. The Mariners are thankful for God’s provision and continued fruit in both family and ministry.
