Latest Update

Allen and Hagit Lord, serving in Israel, continue ministering in the midst of ongoing tension and uncertainty. Despite recent conflict, including nearby missile activity and damage close to their home, they are thankful for a temporary ceasefire that has allowed them to resume portions of their regular ministry. Through it all, they are trusting in God’s sustaining grace and strength during difficult days. 

They also recently celebrated the 20th anniversary of Grace Baptist Church, a meaningful milestone especially in light of the challenges the church has faced over the past year. The church continues to be a faithful light in a difficult area, reaching a diverse community with many needs. In addition, they are ministering to Jewish families immigrating to Israel, helping dozens of new arrivals as they begin their lives in a new country.

On a personal level, the Lords are walking through both sorrow and physical challenges. They are grieving the loss of their longtime family pet, which had been a special part of their ministry and life. At the same time, there are ongoing health concerns within the family. Even in these trials, they remain thankful for God’s faithfulness and for the prayers and support of those who stand with them.
