Mark and Brenda Liedtke are thankful for God’s provision of a 2013 Nissan Rogue after their previous vehicle broke down. Special gifts from churches and individuals helped make the purchase possible, providing them with dependable transportation for their ministry in Honduras.

The summer was busy and fruitful. Three Bible institute students served as interns with the Liedtkes, gaining ministry experience while providing valuable help. Two visiting church groups also came in July and ministered in schools and homes for the handicapped while helping with projects at the church. Many children and young people prayed to receive Christ, and the Liedtkes are seeking to follow up with them through the local church. They also helped with a medical outreach in Siguatapeque and continued encouraging pastors and churches in other areas of Honduras.

They have also seen encouraging fruit at Faro de Luz. A teenage girl trusted Christ in July and was baptized in August along with another young man, and another family joined the church. The youth ministry continues to develop under the leadership of Kidverd and Stefany. During their Children’s Day evangelistic outreach, approximately 75 children attended and five received Christ as Savior. Although the church has faced some challenges, Mark and Brenda remain thankful for the Lord’s faithfulness and ask for continued prayer for the ministry.
