Brandyn and Alicia Knight are thankful for a busy and encouraging return to their ministry with the U.S. military community in Iwakuni, Japan. During their time in the United States, they visited several churches and were encouraged to have some of them begin supporting their ministry. After returning to Japan in August, they quickly became involved again in church activities and outreach. 

One highlight was their annual Back to School Bible Club, where church members shared the Gospel with more than 30 children. Since then, some children have made professions of faith. The church also held its annual Friend Day in September and is now averaging nearly 120 people each week, with visitors continuing to attend and people being saved. Brandyn also preached at a teen conference in Okinawa, encouraging young people to turn their attention away from the world and toward Christ.

A major focus continues to be the church's relocation and building project. The ministry has the money needed to purchase the property and building but still needs to raise approximately $200,000 for renovations and property improvements. This need is especially urgent because the church will lose its current parking area after October 31. The Knights are thankful for how God has already provided and are praying for the remaining funds needed to make the new property fully usable for ministry.
