Bruce and Vicki Kelly continue their ministry to the Deaf, with a strong desire to reach people with the Gospel while there is still time. This truth became especially personal when Vicki’s cousin, Pauline, was unexpectedly killed in an automobile accident shortly after retiring. Although the loss brought great sorrow, they are comforted knowing that she was saved and is now in Heaven. 

At the end of July, the Kellys hosted a Deaf camp in Florida with 75 people attending. They were especially thankful that five Deaf people trusted Christ as Savior. The camp required considerable work from those who organized the children’s and teen programs, and the Kellys are grateful for everyone who helped make the outreach possible.

In September, Bruce and Vicki celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary and thanked God for His goodness throughout their years together. Their church also hosted a Deaf Camp Meeting September 24–26, attended by 16 Deaf pastors and missionaries along with approximately 30 others. Bruce was encouraged by the gathering and challenged those attending to remain faithful in serving the Lord.
