Jim and Susie Horne remain faithfully committed to the work in Kenya and plan to return to the field in April. Although they are currently in the United States handling travel and ministry matters, their focus remains on strengthening and advancing the work overseas.
A major highlight from the past months is the end-of-year fund drive through Operation Give Hope. The Lord provided abundantly, with $102,000 given toward their $140,000 goal. They are grateful for this generous response and are trusting God to supply the remaining $38,000 so that the planned ministry projects can move forward.
Another significant milestone is the transition of leadership at the church they planted in 2002. In June, Kenyan leadership will officially take responsibility for the ministry. The Hornes rejoice in what God has built through Crossroads Fellowship Ministries and are thankful to see national leadership stepping forward. While this chapter marks a transition, Jim and Susie emphasize that they are not retiring. They are preparing for the next phase of ministry in Kenya and remain fully committed to the Lord’s calling.
They express deep gratitude to the churches and partners who have stood with them for many years and praise God for doing “more than we could ever ask or imagine.”
Pray for the remaining $38,000 needed to complete the fund drive goal.
Pray for a smooth and wise transition to Kenyan leadership in June.
Pray for safe travels and productive ministry meetings while in the U.S.
Pray for clarity and direction as they return to Kenya in April.
Pray for continued strength and endurance as they enter this next season of ministry.
