David and his family are thankful to be back in Moldova after returning on September 1. They were warmly welcomed by their church families, who generously provided food and other necessities for their return. The Lord also provided a 2018 Dacia Logan, giving them a reliable and fuel-efficient vehicle for their ministry needs.

They are asking prayer for several family needs. Daniel and Ana have an orthodontist appointment on December 1, which requires a long trip to the capital. Their daughter Abby recently began working as a teacher’s assistant in America and is adjusting to driving, work responsibilities, and life on her own. 

A new ministry opportunity has also opened in the village of Bulboci, where they may be able to purchase a small building for approximately $3,000. The building would provide considerably more room than their current meeting place and has outdoor space that could be used for Vacation Bible School and other activities. Because of Moldovan law, they are seeking wisdom concerning how the property should be purchased and legally held.

Moldova is also facing several serious challenges. A lack of rainfall has left two major rivers critically low, creating a need for rain. The country has also experienced increased Russian drone activity, including several incursions into Moldovan airspace. The Gross family is asking for prayer for Moldova, its people, and wisdom for government and European leaders during these uncertain times.
