Sarah Goodman shares how the Lord has been graciously guiding her through an important season of transition as she serves as a medical missionary in the Amazon River Basin of Brazil. This month marks nearly one year since she began this chapter of ministry, and she is preparing to return temporarily to the United States for a planned furlough. During this time, Sarah will complete the final clinical hours required to graduate from her Nurse Practitioner program, training she has pursued specifically to expand future medical missions opportunities in the Amazon region. As she prepares to step away briefly from Brazil, she is thankful for God’s provision in housing, transportation, and ministry continuity, and looks forward to staying spiritually encouraged through involvement in a local church while completing her training.
