Buddy and Loren Fitzgerald continue serving the Lord in Peru, where God has been blessing their ministry in recent months. In January they helped host a missionary kid (MK) camp near Lima with more than 55 in attendance. Several young people trusted Christ, and others surrendered to full-time Christian service during the week
Their local church has also seen encouraging outreach opportunities. In February the youth group hosted a Valentine’s banquet with numerous visitors, giving Ben the opportunity to present the Gospel. The church later held a Vacation Bible School that brought around fifty children, resulting in several professions of faith and new contacts with families in the community.
God has also been working in individual lives. Jordy and Sandro recently trusted Christ and joined the baptism class, and Nico—who had attended for years—finally decided to follow the Lord in baptism. One of the greatest blessings for the Fitzgerald family was seeing their son Isaiah place his faith in Christ after wrestling with the decision for several years.
The family has faced a few health challenges, including ongoing back pain and Loren’s continued treatment for Hashimoto’s disease, but they remain grateful for the Lord’s provision and encouragement through their ministry.
Pray for the new believers who recently trusted Christ and are preparing for baptism.
Pray for continued spiritual growth for the young people impacted at the MK camp.
Pray for the Fitzgerald family’s health, including Loren’s ongoing condition and other medical needs.
Pray for God to provide a pastor and long-term co-laborers to strengthen the ministry in Peru.
Pray for upcoming evangelistic outreach, including the planned medical mission trip by river to reach remote communities.
