Latest Update

Jim and Joy Crockett are thankful for the growing opportunities God has given R1 Ministries and the T22 Institute to train and encourage believers around the world. During the summer, they hosted a group of young adults from Mikado Baptist Church for an intensive Bible study weekend. The group represents nearly 40 adults studying through T22 Institute videos, and the Crocketts had the opportunity to teach them the doctrine of Christology.

Their international ministry included time in the Åland Islands of Finland, where they taught young adults about the importance of the church, helped with ministry strategy, and participated in evangelistic outreach. They then traveled to Oslo, Norway, where two Christian business leaders joined them to help equip other Christian businessmen with principles for effective Christian leadership.

In September, the Crocketts hosted a team of young adults from New Vision Baptist Church during Skeptics Week in Trondheim, Norway. The team served others, built relationships, encouraged Christian students, and had meaningful conversations about the Gospel with unbelievers. Their trip concluded with Jim preaching at Crosspoint Church in Oslo, a young church they are praying will continue to grow.

As R1 Ministries continues expanding, the Crocketts are praying for additional workers and financial partners. They need to raise at least $100,000 in additional annual support, with nearly $17,000 already provided. They are also preparing to expand T22 Institute, record new teaching videos in December, and continue international ministry opportunities.
