The Coffey family continues to see exciting Gospel opportunities through Camp Rhino and their church-planting ministry in South Africa. This month, Camp Rhino is hosting 229 high school seniors and staff from a local public school for seven nights as the students prepare for final exams. The Gospel is being preached to the entire group, and several of the students live near the Coffeys’ church, creating the possibility of beginning weekly Bible studies with them after camp.

The Coffeys also recently participated in a weeklong mission trip to Mbombela, where they helped Noah and Tristan Wilkerson. During the trip, they were reminded of the tremendous need for missionaries throughout South Africa and of their desire not only to serve as missionaries themselves but also to raise up missionaries from South Africa. One special blessing was seeing a man named Victor trust Christ as Savior, and they are now praying for his spiritual growth.

Their daughter Emilee is raising support to return to South Africa full time by May 2027 and is currently bringing a small group for a two-week ministry visit. Looking ahead, the Coffeys are also preparing for a large evangelistic campaign and teen camp at Camp Rhino in December 2027. As attendance at the camp grows, additional facilities are needed, including a missions team lodge, two girls’ dormitories, and improvements to the solar power and water storage systems.
