The Brown family is thankful for encouraging spiritual growth in their ministry in Cambodia. At the end of August, they baptized six new believers during a special service at a local swimming pool. Two were children of a couple baptized earlier this year, one was reached through a coworker, and three were reached through door-to-door evangelism in surrounding villages. One young lady from Snuol is especially encouraging because she is the first new believer from their evangelism campaign in that district.

The church members continue growing through weekly discipleship groups and regular Sunday services. The Browns are thankful for believers who desire to mature in Christ and are preparing for several special ministry opportunities. On October 29, they plan to hold a medical outreach and are praying that many people will receive both physical help and an opportunity to hear the Gospel.

The Brown children have also begun their new school year after working hard through the summer to catch up following furlough travel. As a family, the Browns remain focused on strengthening new believers, discipling the church, and reaching more people with the Gospel throughout Cambodia.
