Dallas and Ashley Brown are excited about the continued growth of Victory Baptist Church of Zinguedesse in Burkina Faso. The church is faithfully reaching its community through evangelism and seeing fruit from those efforts. An especially encouraging milestone is that the church is now covering all of its own expenses without outside support, becoming a truly indigenous and self-supporting church. The Browns are praying that their other church plants will eventually reach this same level of independence.

Several outreach events were held recently at Victory Baptist Church and in partnership with other churches. One outreach took place in the village of Tinsuka, just outside Ouagadougou, where nine people made professions of faith. Even more encouraging, eight new visitors attended the local church the following Sunday as a direct result of that outreach. The Browns are thankful for the spiritual fruit God is providing through these evangelistic efforts. 

The Browns have also welcomed Grant Snode, a missions student who will serve alongside them for the next six months. Grant has already begun visiting villages with them as he adjusts to life in Burkina Faso and seeks God’s direction for his future. The Browns are also continuing to pray for the Turner family as they settle into the country and begin their own missionary service.
