We are excited to welcome Matt, Ashley, Parker and Eden Brown into the Mikado family at the 2026 missions conference.

"My wife and I have been missionaries with Vision Baptist Missions since 2016.  We first arrived on the field in 2018 and spend the next 3 years learning the language and working under veteran missionary Keith Shumaker.  During this time, both my son Parker and my daughter Eden were born in Burkina Faso.  After that we sought the Lord's will for where he would like us to work and God laid the community of Zingudesse on our hearts.  In 2021 our family began working to start a church in the community of Zingudesse.   The Lord greatly blessed and we saw many people saved, Baptist, and integrated into the church plant.  In March of 2025 we officially constituted the church.  We are grateful for all the Lord has done but we are just getting started.  We have already kicked off a second church plant in a second community about a hour away called Kombissiri and we have plans for a third church in Komsiliga.  We are excited for all the Lord has in store for us in the future."
