Tim and Laura Berrey continue serving through Gospel Fellowship Association, focusing on missionary training, theological education, and international outreach.

In January, they participated in GFA’s annual missionary advance training retreat, where Tim had the opportunity to teach and interact with both veteran and young missionaries preparing for full-time service. Their daughter Susanna was also able to attend as she prepares for ministry in a closed country this summer.

Tim recently traveled to Nairobi, Kenya, where he taught an intensive Old Testament Introduction course to ten men. In addition to over 30 hours of classroom instruction in just eight days, he also preached in churches and chapels. His burden is to equip leaders to properly interpret Scripture and defend its authority as the inspired Word of God. He sees this work as especially urgent as Africa’s population continues to grow rapidly.

The Berreys are also preparing the 2026 Europe E3 Team, a twenty-member youth outreach team ministering primarily in French-speaking Europe (France, Luxembourg, and Belgium). E3 stands for Evangelism, Edification, and Exposure. Their prayer is that young people will be saved, strengthened, and burdened for long-term missions. Their son James will again participate this summer.
