Dr. Ronnie and Chona Autrey are thankful for a very busy and fruitful summer of ministry in the Dominican Republic. They began the summer by hosting a fellowship for national pastors designed to encourage them and provide practical tools for evangelism. The ministry received 400,000 Gospel tracts containing a QR code that connects people with nearby pastors and churches and provides access to a Gospel presentation explaining how to receive Christ as Savior.

Along with preparing their Christian school for another year, the Autreys have seen encouraging spiritual growth in the church. During a recent series of messages, a woman named Canasias realized that she needed Christ and trusted Him as Savior. They are also thankful for 15 new church members who have already become a blessing to the ministry.

Another major summer project has been helping repair and improve six older churches throughout the Dominican Republic. Work has included plumbing, tile floors, doors, seating, painting, wall repairs, signs, and unfinished construction projects. This effort began in June and is expected to continue through December. Through these ministries, the Autreys remain focused on seeing souls saved, churches started, and men trained for ministry.

• Pray for the 15 new church members to grow spiritually and become faithful servants.

• Pray for provision and progress as the Autreys continue renovating six churches across the island.

• Pray for continued fruit in the ministry as they seek to see souls saved, new churches started, and more men trained.
