Ronnie and Chona Autrey continue serving the Lord in the Dominican Republic, where God is blessing their long-standing ministry of church planting and evangelism across the island. During the Christmas season through early January, they helped organize four outreach events that reached about 700 children with gifts, games, food, and a clear presentation of the gospel. Many of the children made decisions to trust Christ as Savior during these special events.

The Autreys are also working closely with more than 70 churches across the Dominican Republic, encouraging believers to focus on winning souls and making disciples. At the end of January, they rejoiced as 18 believers from four different churches were baptized, celebrating God’s work in their lives.

Looking ahead, the ministry is preparing to distribute 400,000 gospel tracts that include a QR code linking people to the nearest church they have helped start, along with a video explaining the plan of salvation. A recent men’s conference also brought together leaders from many churches who desire to grow spiritually and lead their congregations more effectively.

God continues to bless two new church plants outside Santo Domingo, and the Autreys are grateful to see new pastors stepping forward to lead these growing ministries.
