Slavic Baptist Mission is thankful for the continued impact of its ministry in Ukraine, where the Slavic Baptist Institute has now been training national Christian leaders for 30 years. Since its founding, the Institute has graduated approximately 200 men and women who are serving and strengthening local churches. Even during the ongoing war, churches continue to meet, people are being saved, and believers are faithfully sharing the Gospel in extremely difficult circumstances. 

Through the Compassion for Ukraine outreach, Slavic Baptist Mission reports distributing nearly 20 million pounds of humanitarian aid and more than one million New Testaments since 2022. Food and other needed supplies are being provided alongside the Gospel, while churches are being planted and believers strengthened. During a recent visit to Ukraine, Rick Arrowood and other ministry leaders experienced the realities of the war firsthand when missile attacks forced them and their Ukrainian hosts into basements and shelters for safety.

The ministry is also expanding beyond Ukraine. Bible training and church-strengthening efforts are growing in Southeast Asia, where the first graduating class recently included 16 students, and in India, where conferences brought together approximately 260 pastors. Through these ministries, Slavic Baptist Mission remains focused on training national leaders, strengthening local churches, providing humanitarian assistance, and helping carry the Gospel into areas where there is great spiritual and physical need.
