Latest Update

The Applegate Family, missionaries to Uganda, have returned to the field after a meaningful furlough in the United States. During their time away, they were encouraged through fellowship, ministry opportunities, and sharing the Gospel with neighbors. They are thankful the Lord allowed them to maintain strong connections with their sending church while traveling. 

Back in Uganda, they have “hit the ground running,” jumping into Sunday ministries including Bible studies, discipleship, and music. They are also continuing the work of completing the church building and reconnecting with church members. In addition, Tony will be teaching at East Africa Baptist College, helping train future leaders for ministry. 

God has shown His provision through safe travels, support from others, and continued opportunities to serve. The family is grateful to be back where God has called them and is excited about what He will continue to do in Uganda.
