Matt and Becky Allen serve in Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea, where they are involved in church planting, training national leaders, and operating a growing Christian school ministry. Ministry in the city follows a unique rhythm each year, as many families travel back to their home provinces during the Christmas season. Despite the seasonal drop in attendance, the Allens remained busy serving while much of their ministry team was away.

As the new year began, the ministry resumed at full strength. The school has continued to grow and now has 263 students enrolled, including the launch of its first 10th-grade class, marking an important milestone in the development of the program.

The ministry is also preparing for expansion. Plans are underway for a new building extension that will include a cafeteria, additional classrooms, and office space to accommodate the growing school. At the same time, Matt and Becky recently traveled to recruit additional teachers as they prepare to separate the high school from the middle school next year.

The Allens are also prayerfully preparing for a major upcoming phase of ministry that they believe will help train and shape the next generation of Christian leaders in Papua New Guinea.
