Matt and Becky Allen, serving in Papua New Guinea, are celebrating a major milestone after 25 years of ministry. What began with a small group of supporting churches has grown into a thriving work, including their school, South Pacific International Academy, which has expanded from just 8 students to 265 today. Now, they are taking a significant next step by founding South Pacific Christian University, with the goal of continuing to train and shape future leaders within the country. 

This new university is being developed to provide a Christ-centered higher education option for students who have been trained in their ministry, allowing them to remain in Papua New Guinea rather than leaving for schooling elsewhere. The vision is to build leaders with both strong character and competence, grounded in biblical truth. They are currently working through the legal registration process and partnering with a group of qualified believers who will help guide the university’s development.

Looking ahead, they are trusting the Lord for the successful launch of the university in January 2029, aligning with the graduation of their current students. This step represents not only growth in the ministry but also the fruit of many years of faithful service and partnership. They are deeply grateful for those who have prayed and supported them and are asking for continued prayer as they move forward.
