Matt and Becky Allen, serving in Papua New Guinea, are seeing God’s continued blessing on their church and ministry. A major step forward has been the signing of a contract for a new school building expansion, which will include a cafeteria, classrooms, and offices. They are especially thankful that, through God’s provision, the project is largely funded—over 90% by local donations—and remains debt-free. 

At Capital City Baptist Church, the ministry continues to mature. Many members who were once unchurched are now growing in their faith, and the church is reaching an exciting milestone—sending out its first missionary. This reflects the spiritual growth and discipleship taking place within the church. 

The Allens also recently participated in an evangelistic outreach to the Kikori Delta, a region where the Gospel is largely absent. While the team was well received, they were burdened by the lack of Gospel preaching in the area and are praying for greater opportunities to reach these communities.

Looking ahead, they are preparing for a significant new ministry initiative—the development of South Pacific Christian University—which they believe will play a key role in training future leaders for the region. They also shared a video of the recent trip to Kikori.
