Papua New Guinea
John and Lena Allen are thankful for a full and fruitful season of ministry in Papua New Guinea, seeing God’s faithfulness in both training and church work. A major highlight has been the continued development of the Kamea New Testament App, which has now been tested and is nearing full release. This tool will allow God’s Word to reach the Kamea people in their own language, making a lasting impact for the Gospel.
They are also encouraged by the progress of the Baptist Bible Institute in Port Moresby, where four students recently graduated. It is a blessing to see these individuals trained and sent out into ministry, continuing the work of strengthening churches across the region. In addition, they rejoiced in the ordination of Pastor Erick Bala, a faithful servant who has labored for many years and is now formally recognized for ministry leadership.
The Allens have also had opportunities to participate in missions conferences and connect with churches, both encouraging others and being encouraged themselves. Through all of this, they remain grateful for God’s grace, for faithful partners in ministry, and for the continued opportunity to see the Gospel advance in Papua New Guinea.
