John and Lena Allen, serving in Papua New Guinea, are celebrating a remarkable milestone in their translation ministry. For the first time in history, the Kamea New Testament is now available in digital form through a mobile app. This is especially significant because only a limited number of printed copies exist, yet now the Word of God can be shared quickly from phone to phone—even in remote mountain villages. 

The app already includes audio recordings from the Gospel of John, allowing those who cannot read to hear Scripture in their own language. This opens the door for many to encounter God’s Word clearly for the first time in their heart language.

This milestone comes after more than a decade of faithful translation work—learning the language, working alongside national believers, carefully translating Scripture, and testing it for clarity and accuracy. Now, while they continue toward full printing, the Kamea people no longer have to wait to receive God’s Word.
